also want to add, I think global bases should ALL be removed, however, we should lose foreign interests first. Chicken, egg, which one comes first? Ever thought of that?

Some of the bases are important, for example, Warning of missile attack on the United States comes from Ballistic Missile Early Warning System radars, one antenna of which is in Alaska, one in Greenland (Thule), and one in the United Kingdom (Flyingdales). These locations are defined by geography. Cannot be shut down.
