The Obama Administration interfered in Ukraine's elections.
The Obama Administration interfered in Israel's elections.
The Obama Administration interfered in Russia's elections.
The Obama Administration protested the election in Crimea.
The Obama Administration interfered in Haiti's elections.
Obama told the UK that if they left the EU in the Brexit referendum that they would be at the back of the queue for trade in what amounted to an economic threat.
Many Democrats support the idea of non-US Citizens and even illegal immigrants voting in our elections.
I don't remember much protests on this board when those happened. Is interfering in other elections morally wrong? Or is it only morally wrong when it works against you?
1. Hacking is bad. It is a combination of breaking and entering, stealing and destruction of property, depending on the nature of the hack. Our government should go after hackers aggressively, to the fullest extent of the law, regardless of the political affiliations of those people that were hacked or of those people doing the hacking. This part is not moral and it is clearly wrong.
2. Influencing elections is a routine practice of governments and spy agencies everywhere. They do this to their own citizens and they do it the people of other countries. Doing it in a misleading or duplicitous way to your own people is morally wrong. However, doing it to other countries is not morally wrong. It is just part of the conflict between nations. Rude maybe. Unfriendly perhaps. But morally wrong from the perspective of the country doing the meddling, I don't think so.

I am glad that the Obama Administration has never been accused of hacking and peering into private emails and phone conversations, etc...of foreign countries, WikiLeaks, journalists, or its own citizens.

Why go through clandestine methods when you can be out front in the open...
...a team of up to five Obama campaign operatives has reportedly arrived in Israel to lead a campaign to defeat the Israeli Prime Minister in upcoming national elections scheduled for March 17.

Apparently interfering in foreign elections is okay!
The U.S. has a long and colorful history of not only influencing elections in other countries but also setting up dictators and governments abroad that favor American policies. One that comes immediately to mind is the Shaw of Iran. We all know how that one turned out.

Obama must be a very strong leader to do all that, maybe even more powerful than Putin. Interfering in Russian elections is a losing proposition not to mention a waste of time.
Serious question... if you're a patriot, why do you care what the US might have done to influence politics in OTHER countries and you don't seem to care if ANOTHER country interfered in a US election?
That seems backward.
I'm not saying people shouldn't care how the US behaves toward other countries. But, to care more about that than whether other countries are bending the US to their will is really odd.

More importantly, Obama NEVER interferred during the Iranian uprising and left the people hanging. If he had acted in some way to show support for the Iranian people, he just might have earned that nobel peace prize.
What a galactic foreign policy mistake!!!!!!
Additionally obama went overseas and spoke negatively of trump during the election under the pretense of calming world leaders. That tour in no way was to allay global leaders fear of trump. He raised their fear by taking on such a tour.
Consistent with dem fear mongering campaign where fear was raised where there was nothing to fear except media propaganda and dems narrative of fear.
