That is just the thing about one man, one vote, majority rules mentality. It truly is not fair, nor permanent. A Democratic Republic as we were conceived as and founded as balances everything out. We are a representative republic, federally. You experience democracy within your own state when the majority vote.
You lefties aren't very bright it's possible under a revised EC system Hillary would have lost even worse.
Right now the Dems get all of the electoral votes from California and NY every election. That's a 79 point boost right before the election even happens.
The election is rigged, take NY and CA out of the electoral college LOL.
I say we go back to the good ole days when state legislatures decided to whom the electors would be granted! if your state is "red" (republican majority legislature) then the electors are given to the GOP candidate. Would make local elections A LOT more important!
Bad idea. I've voted for a mix of Republicans and Democrats. I'd hate to have to choose a party over the best candidate.
