Even if he had a philosophy, it wouldn't matter. He's going to nominate a bunch of judges that ruled in his favor, over a few issues and saved him some money. What's the over/under for how many judges he picks before we find one that sat on one of his cases?
Can yall keep up this disdain for the working class voter until like November 2020? That way we can insure Trump wins a 2nd term.As far as the OP goes Trump has already given a list of SC judges he will pick from...Originalist's etc. My favorite is a judge from Michigan.
Wrong again. Obama nominated, and Senate confirmed 329 judges who are now serving for life.
And Trump will probably appoint just as many. The good news is the Democrats can't block any of them, thanks the their own short-sided stupidity in getting rid of the filibuster for non-SCOTUS judicial nominations.
On the civil side, Republicans hate torts and this his a good opportunity to swing the pendulum further to Civil Defendants and away from Civil Plaintiffs.
Yet, Trump LOVES Torts so I have no idea what will happen.
Another poster summed it up, whatever is the new Conservative issue will probably dictate a lot of these appointments.

Why would they block them? Its a big country and courts need judges. Or are you saying they should block them because Trumps nominees will be activists?
