That's an interesting take.

I genuinely don't care.

So Trump is an originalist? Since when?

Wrong again. Obama nominated, and Senate confirmed 329 judges who are now serving for life.

Ok...Trump will be nominating lots of judges...what is his judicial philosophy?
What an important question his supporters did not ask while he campaigned.

At least it'll be worse for illegals/minorities/lbruls, right? That's good enough.

And Trump will probably appoint just as many. The good news is the Democrats can't block any of them, thanks the their own short-sided stupidity in getting rid of the filibuster for non-SCOTUS judicial nominations.

On the civil side, Republicans hate torts and this his a good opportunity to swing the pendulum further to Civil Defendants and away from Civil Plaintiffs.

Yet, Trump LOVES Torts so I have no idea what will happen.

Another poster summed it up, whatever is the new Conservative issue will probably dictate a lot of these appointments.

You can't tell from the list of eleven federal judges that he's already published? Why not?

Why would they block them? Its a big country and courts need judges. Or are you saying they should block them because Trumps nominees will be activists?
