The problem with how the term racism has been used over the last 8 years is that now it has been reduced to a catch phrase.
You want immigration laws enforced? Racist.
You call black criminals thugs? Racist.
You disagree with President Obama's policies? Racist
You don't want to vote for Hillary? Sexist and racist. Not sure why it is connected, but it is by some.
You don't agree with protestors burning and destroying private property? Racist.
All lives matter? Racist
The list really does go on and on.

The problem is racism is much more complicated than those on both sides like to admit.

Sounds like a call for genocide. Eliminate the human race and problem solved.

Default Hillary played the racism card from the start

against Trump and it didn't work.

They've lost their silver bullet because they played it too often:

Meh, when black folks used to complain about things as visible and obvious as lynchings, Jim Crow policies, or anything else in that vein, white people said "stop complaining about racism."

So really, whatever.
