Well I thought the point of this thread was to express condolences about the victims. Maybe even think about MLK's speeches and his stance on human rights. Should have known the purpose was a thinly veiled bash black people thread. Silly me.
Sad truth is, this thread attracts the bigots. There are those that despise Blacks, and despise Dr. King. I don't think some individuals care about the victims. Said persons are more interested in complaining about Black people. This is nothing new.
Calling other forumers names such as bigot, simply means you lack credible argument based on logic and fact.
Statistics are just that, Statistics. The reason this news was brought up had nothing to do with any care for the victims. This had more to do with complaining about Black people. In some cases, the word "bigot" is used to address the intentions of ones' actions. I'm using the term bigot because it fits the actions of the persons involved.
Stop going to the threads as a means to complain about based on ethnicity/race, and the word "bigot" won't be used. Usually, some people have a problem with being called a bigot because it exposes what that individual is doing. Basically, it's about saving face.

So true. A group of posters usually swarm threads like this say the same thing over and over again about how blacks need to get their communities in shape and how blacks blame all their problems on whites etcetera before a black poster has even posted on the thread. I have only seen one thread made for the purpose of calling out white people like they have control of the groups actions yet their is at least one thread about violent black people doing something stupid every day here. When the Waco shooting happened, when Eric Roof happened the black posters didn't jump on a thread to chastise white people for the actions of a criminal(s).
It is a pretty easy read - engaging stories embedded within. It covers issues like why it is hard to investigate murders, how the police departments don't prioritize solving these murders and why people don't "cooperate." And some potential solutions.
It is from the lens of 2 police officers - one detective in South Central and one officer whose son get killed in a drive-by. And it covers a few different cases in depth.
The author spent 5 years following all South LA murders and their outcomes.
I think the question is quite relevant to the topic and particularly to posts you've made on this thread. I understand why you don't want to answer it but at least be honest and stop blaming others for your refusal to answer a very simple question.
