1. There would by no GM without Obama's bailout
2. Large companies like GM take at least 18 months to make these decisions, so they decided to proceed while Pba was the president and the election was undecided.
But I know Trump is happy to claim credit for something he had no hand in.
Do you forget that GM went bankrupt, even with $30 billion in US taxpayer dollars flushed down the drain? The "Obama bailout" was intended to prevent that.
Just WHAT part of " long-held plans to invest about $1 billion in its U.S. factories" and "In an interview Monday, GM general counsel Craig Glidden declined to confirm specifics of the announcement but said any investment the company might disclose has been long planned and isn't a response to pressure from Mr. Trump" has anything to do with Trump?
...
Yes, good news, but the credit for what has long been an economy in recovery DOES NOT GO TO TRUMP!
This reality like so many other points of fact that Trump supporters seem able to suspend is utterly amazing to observe, but as I have pointed out all too many times already, ignorance is our number one biggest problem on the planet, apparently also even here in America!
Add this to the fact that our political system is rigged, if Trump had not been elected. Democracy at work since Trump did get elected! Also some amazing pretzel logic...

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said it plans to create about 10,000 U.S. jobs this year, a sign that even the country’s largest private employer feels the need to tout American job growth ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The jobs will come from previously planned store openings, store expansions and new e-commerce services, the company said Tuesday.
This is tiresome.
