How do you know it's a lie? Doesn't seem like it to me.
Trump's events are always in Yuge demand. You should know this. I think you said several times that huge crowds at his rallies didn't matter. That Hillary was going to win.
Disgruntled Democrats should return those tickets.
Well, for starters...you posted it.

What is stopping them? Inertia? And I'll bet a million dollars you do not know two million people.
You realize tickets are limited right? I called around in several states that I own property and they are out of tickets at the senator and representatives office... they were out literally the day of when it is available... I am surprised you know so little about inauguration tickets and talk so much about something you don't know... you can keep your million dollar Monopoly money...

Well, you just told us you are not a big donor. Those people get first dibs.
FWIW, you can easily book hotel rooms a couple of Metro stops from the Mall for under $300 per night. I can personally attest to that very much not being the case in 2009 - I know, because I ended up having to rent somebody's small, but admittedly quite cosy studio apartment at $250/night. (This was before AirBnB was a thing, of course.)
Heckuva party, though - we scored tickets to booze it up in the National Air and Space Museum, that was some seriously good fun. When there's a jazz band under the Spirit of St. Louis and a wet bar in front of the LM, that's my idea of a fun night. Good times.
