Almost $20 TRILLION in debt.

It's about time SOMEBODY got serious about it!

How about we audit EVERY SINGLE program in the fed gov't and determine if it is necessary to borrow money to keep it?

Becaue borrowing is what we are doling today for every 1 of these programs.

So, are you suggesting that we keep them on the PAYROLL WHEN THEY DON'T DO ANY WORK?

This is NOT the railroad union!

Come on... they're not cutting funding. They're cutting these out of spite and spending more elsewhere. Since when did a Republican CUT spending overall?
Doesn't MATTER if we CARE about those things, the Federal Government is Constitutionally responsible to fund those things and therefore should NOT BE DOING IT!! Let the states deal with their violence against women and let the Minority Businesses get together and form their own private organization....oh, wait...

I have no reason to defend Trump. I didn't vote for him. I will if he does something I like but he's not done anything here yet.

"And yet not a peep about our inflated defense spending"

You DO know the defense budgets have been cut by VERY since the Sequester, don't you?

I guess not.

Another thing you probably DON'T know is that the military is one of the FEW things the Constitution says is federal government responsibility, so lets cut EVERYTHING NOT specifically called for in the Constitution.

"to include $500 million to the military"
