I wonder how long it will be until Trump supporters began to cry for Putin style crackdowns on journalists and university professors. After all, if you point out the dismal human rights in Russia or expose any corruption, you end up dead.
Well, they've already done their best to discredit all of them, so I'd say we are well on our way.

Something about the advent of Trump has stirred the Russian soul. It’s almost as though the 45th president of Russia were about to take office on Friday.
Talk show hosts have dedicated hours to the expression of hope that Trump will lift U.S.-Russian relations from their all-time post-Cold-War low (and in some cases to nasty, unabashedly racist farewells to President Obama).
“It looks very emotional, like a childish burst of joy,” Mikhail Fishman, editor in chief of the Moscow Times, commented about the ongoing fascination with Trump.
They avoided a costly war that they couldn't win. If I were Russian, I would be celebrating too!
Well this has already begun by Trump constantly
harping on the so, so unfair news stations that won't cover
him in a good way. Look at how many posters on here
already dismiss standard news channels. It has begun.
Standard news channels began delegitimizing themselves a long time ago.
Who does CNN have covering the Supreme Court and Justice Department ? Laura Jarrett, daughter of Hillary's close friend and advisor, Valerie Jarrett.
It's about time someone isn't afraid to openly criticize the media, isn't worried they won't get favorable coverage.
Plus, as a NYTimes reporter recently wrote:
"WASHINGTON — If Donald J. Trump decides as president to throw a whistle-blower in jail for trying to talk to a reporter, or gets the F.B.I. to spy on a journalist, he will have one man to thank for bequeathing him such expansive power: Barack Obama."
Obviously our traditional allies are NOT celebrating.
It seems only Russia and the American Alt-Right celebrate......
Sad!
And telling.

They are celebrating because they got their boy in the White House.
Exactly. They are thrilled that they had an effect on our process and managed to encourage American divisiveness. This is a big win for them.
