How is that in anyway fair? A fair tax system means everybody pays the same AMOUNT. Hell even if everybody pays the same ratio, it would be fairer than what we have today.

What if you were taxed $500,000 a year? What if the fixed amount you were taxed was more than your paycheck but less than someone else's? How on earth is that fair??!

That might work in a communist society that you so despise, but not here. I don't know about you but I like Capitalism and I think our taxes should work to recognize it.

As for paying the same ratio, don't disagree, but we need to close more loopholes and stop money from being stashed overseas if we really want it to be fair.
