I respect that so many women and men were able to get together across the nation and world to protest President Trump today but here is a thought.

Trump is no politician as we have seen and heard throughout the campaign. He has said some wild off the hook whacky things over the past months and many have considered his tirades to be nothing but braggy and self indulgent and those are his supporters. The people who oppose him consider most of what spews from Trumps mouth as lies. Now he is certainly not a polished politician but he talks like one in that he has promised to do so many things that we all know simply cannot and will not happen.

Somewhere along the campaign road Trump must have said something that got many people excited that he was going to take away a womans rights. That is pretty serious stuff if true but since when has a politician, even an outsider playing a politician ever told the truth on the campaign trail?
Obama for example pledged to close Gitmo yet it is still open.

I wonder what all these women are hoping to achieve and why they have chosen to suddenly take Trump at his word when most will say if his mouth is open there are lies falling out ?

Grabbing women without their permission is just locker room talk? That his fame allows him to do so? Being caught publicly cheating on his wife with his mistress on a family vacation? Bragging that STDs were his personal Vietnam? That it's very hard for a woman with a small chest to be a ten? There are plenty of videos listing an assortment of things Trump has said.

Are men's contraceptives covered by insurance?

Where do you or anyone get that maternity is being removed from insurance?

Planned Parenthood can provide all the preventive services they want, where do you get that they will not be able to?

Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows that a guy in that position who DOESN'T know what he is doing and therefore surrounds himself with the wall street billionaire boys clubs as well as other idealogues is not going to come up with decent policy.

I would ask in response. Being as we know he lies and misleads....and has hired the worst of the worst in the very people who have destroyed this country, what makes you think his policies will be helpful to that "forgotten" man and woman? The first order he signed was to raise mortgage rates on him and her and to start dismantling health care.

Do you think chaos and lack of ability is going to turn out well? I'm interested.

And at the end of the day, many people do not care, they do not care because this has nothing to do with enacting policies and running the US.

Just as Bill Clinton still remains popular, even though he cheated on his wife.

You and numerous other people keep dwelling on things that have nothing to do with running the US.

Do you think it would be a good idea to just assume he's lying/exaggerating and not try to do anything about it?

I think he's not going to do a lot of what he said. However, already, 2 weeks into the new congress, there is already an attempt to make health care, especially women's health care, harder to access. Obviously, we have some things to worry about.

Women don't need anything more, we need more equality of divorces. Because women are the biggest benefactor of divorces, it destroys families and puts men either out of work or into bankrupsy.

By making divorces more fair, this will require women to also work to produce and pay into an equal share of child support his will make women own up to their responsibility rather then just become lazy and milk divorces.

BTW, I've been married for over 14 yrs and I see friends and family members go through crisis because of the unfairness and inequality of divorces.

I DOUBT women are gonna march for fairness of divorces.
