And while were on the topic, the U.S. has committed FAR more terrorism than Iran ever has. Exactly what countries has Iran invaded and how many civilians have they killed?

That's what I thought. You can thank Bush and his neoconservative handlers for making the U.S. a terrorist nation. Pres. Obama repaired much of that, and Trump is undoing all those gains.
Could Iran be subtlety giving hints to our soon -to-be Secretary of State (Exxon) etc. as well as a nudge regarding the nuclear agreement with USA.

I wonder if anyone is capable of talking about the issue of oil since Iran is an OPEC member etc. How does this affect Iranian curbing its nuclear program?

For instance U.S.-based oil majors, like Exxon and Chevron, are restricted from bidding by American sanctions on Iran.

Europe Chomps Most Iran Oil in Years With Supertankers Due in Days

Europe is poised to receive the most Iranian crude in about five years this month in a sign that the Persian Gulf nation may be regaining its share of a market it had lost to sanctions.

Arrivals on supertankers will reach 622,581 barrels a day in January, the biggest flows for a single month since at least November 2011, according to ship-tracking and European Union data compiled by Bloomberg. Two Iranian supertankers -- Huge and Snow -- are en route, bringing about 4 million barrels between them. Sanctions halted all deliveries back in 2012 and they only restarted early last year as the measures were eased.
In other words Iran's move isn't really about tourists I think as much as it is about access from a business perspective. China must be giddy as heck.

Agree. Glad someone else feels slightly uncomfortable about this on this board.

Believe it or not, Iran is actually a stunning place to visit in many parts. It has areas of mind blowing beauty. It's not as much of a hole as Fox news wants you to believe.

I'm convinced a lot of people on CD have never even met a Muslim in real life. During grad school there were many Iranian and other Muslim students in our engineering department, and they were almost always terribly nice. No problem whatsoever.

Iran should never have been on that list. That it is, shows it is just political grandstanding and not a serious effort to stop bad people from coming into the US. Iran is doing more to fight ISIS than any other country in the world, including some that ought to be on the list like Saudi Arabia.

When do they do that? They spend 100% of their time screaming "DEATH TO ISRAEL! DEATH TO AMERICA!"

Any American traveling to Iran in the current political climate is nuts anyway. I will never understand why Americans travel to countries that are downright hostile to the United States like Iran and North Korea and then act surprised and betrayed when they end up in jail on trumped-up charges.

Tehran is a modern, world-class, largely secular city. Don't write it off as some wasteland just because it's in Iran. I'd love to go there some day if the political climate in Iran improves and relations between Iran and the U.S. don't suck.

Darn, I'll have to cancel my plans to vacation there this summer, LOL. Anyone going to Iran runs the risk of being locked up for years for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time to the wrong people. No thanks. I'll go to Disneyland.

I'm not happy about this either. It is as if President Trump is trying to mock other countries at this point.
