Oh I'm so disappointed. As a GLBT American, Iran was right at the top of my bucket list. I was so looking forward to visiting that third world sthole of religious extremist hate and getting thrown off a building by Radical Islamist Terrorists.
Prbably a few CD'ers were looking forward to my going there also...
Naw, we like you here, plus the " forced" sex conversion thing they do in Iran doesn't sound like fun
FWIW, while I personally have zero interest in visiting Iran, I'm sure there are some in the various fields of history, archaeology, etc. who do have an interest in visiting the country for research purposes. We should carefully screen Iranians who visit our country but I don't think a closed door policy is productive.
