I accept Trump as my president, but the idea of him being our "master" runs contrary to what the United States of America is all about.

Dems idolize fascist, communist and socialists. That is why they HATE Trump, because he neither any of these. He is following the law to which he is allowed to use.
Even judges have determined that he if going too far.
A sinking ship? Really? Well that sinking ship that holds the anti-Trump folks holds the majority of Americans because it is not just the left that realizes what a self-serving fraud this guy is. It's not for no reason that he received only a paltry 26% of the vote from all eligible voters so let's get real here.
