That is easy - because they speak English in Canada....duh...

But FWIW, I'd rather move to Mexico, better weather and cheaper to live there. I would do my best to learn Spanish.

lol yeah. Mexico has strict immigration law which we should try it here.

Foreigners are admitted into Mexico “according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress.” (Article 32)

Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets “the equilibrium of the national demographics,” when foreigners are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when “they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy.” (Article 37)

Is it race? Safety? They won't let you in because of their immigration policies?
Because they don't speak Spanish?? And Canada has a higher standard of living?

Maybe you should ask yourself the question, where would you choose between Canada and Mexico if you had to move? Then you get the answer.

I'd say safety is key. Mexico can be a scary place outside the resorts while much of Canada is safe.
Is it the poverty that drives people to crime or the easy money in the drug trade?

Cher told us all she was heading to Jupiter if Trump was elected. Does anyone know if she has left yet?

lol Jupiter is very far away from the sun and it is very cold so humans would freeze. Maybe she was talking about Jupiter Hotel in Portland.

Now that is interesting. Could the President of Mexico be so critical of Trumps wall because when built it would mean that all the low skilled poor people that have been coming up from Central and South America will now be stopping and staying in Mexico?
If it happens would Mexico build its own Southern wall? That is if they have any money left from building ours....
