Border Agents Nab an FBI Top 10 Fugitive Wanted For 1983 Murder

In a win for American safety, U.S. border agents nabbed a Mexican national coming through a U.S. port of entry who was listed among the FBI’s top 10 most wanted fugitives.

Guadalajara native Robert Francis Van Wisse, 51, crossed the U.S. border on foot at a port of entry in Laredo, Texas on Jan. 26 and was referred for a secondary inspection. After running his biometric data, agents discovered Van Wisse was wanted for murder in Austin, Texas, for a homicide that occurred more than 30 years ago.

Thanks, Trump. These policies would not have been in place under "other" leadership.

The guy had sexually assaulted and strangled to death with a wire his female victim.

Fake news. Only hardworking people, children, saints and angels would cross the border from Mexico.

Funny that. In Canada they end up with Americans who cross the border illegally too. Turns out that they are more often fugitives and criminals because they cannot get in legally. funny that.

Wow... good point.

This is exactly what I meant when I linked fixing the border and immigration to fixing plumbing problems. Shut off the source, then fix the internals.

Why do you believe anything has changed? If I go to the CBP site I can find numerous other arrests prior to Jan 20th.
