They play hockey, plus an educated population, good mix of white collar and blue collar industries, 4% unemployment, low obesity rate, high literacy rate, etc.
Basically, they're the exact opposite of Alabama or Louisiana...so if they could, I'm sure Canada would gladly accept them,
Why don't you say what you really mean with all your comments? It's because Minnesota so white, right?
Of course....even the people who sign documents like that know that. Same as southern folks who signed petitions to secede after obama was elected. It's just symbolic and to show the level of opposition to the president.
I think it was 25 states that petitioned for secession after the 2012 election. LOL!
Good, that's at least 2 states calling for splitting the Union. Maybe it will happen, and red states can self-destruct in their own stupidity without the wealth, technology, or cultural help from the blue states.
True...all the wealthiest, economically prosperous state are blue states. Even for red states that do well like Texas, their epicenters of economic power are in urban areas dominated by wealthy liberal elites. Red states would not survive on their own...they'd end up like my home state of Kansas...a dogpile of garbage
Our liberals aren't quite the same as in the blue states. They're much more reasonable. Note the lack of riots and blocking traffic (though that may happen with all the protesters coming here for the Super Bowl media attention).
I hope no one thinks less of the State of MN based on the actions of a few crackpots.
We have our ups and downs, we are not much better than anywhere else. We have low unemployment, good wages ect...but all because of the strength of the United States.
But Minneapolis is not the city it was even 5 years ago. Crime is way up and quality of life is going down. If the liberals control Minneapolis for even 5 more years it will be another Baltimore.
Also, don't forget that MN is home to 50 or so fortune 500 companies, from cargill, target, us bank, 3m, etc...so the state is a big player economically. And garrison keiller was right when he says that kids in MN are above average, at least relative to OH, FL, PA and other states.
As you can tell, I love MN...it's too bad I had to go to CA for work
The last Twins game I went to the cops literally were lined along the streets so the fans could get to their cars without getting assaulted. What a beautiful scene, street thugs and crazies screaming at the top of their lungs at the cops. Some of them literally 1 ft from the cops ear screaming. I felt so bad for the poor guys. They are so scared of the liberal mayor that they just stand there and take it. Unless they are physically assaulted there is nothing they dare do.
I remember when Minneapolis was a really nice place. Never had a problem. Now I avoid it like the plague.

I want my property and my house to be annexed by Hawaii.
