These treasonous "judges" need to be rounded up and arrested. This is clearly judicial overreach.

Its a temporary ban, not permanent.

(CNN)Since declaring its caliphate in June 2014, the self-proclaimed Islamic State has conducted or inspired more than 140 terrorist attacks in 29 countries other than Iraq and Syria, where its carnage has taken a much deadlier toll. Those attacks have killed at least 2,043 people and injured thousands more.

Each of those stories are shared on the link above. Now if you can read those brief stories and share here why you disagree with the ban, do explain.

Except he didn't do the exact same thing. That was about as much truth as the Bowling Green Massacre, or the million people at Trump's inauguration. Alternative facts for those who live in an alternative world.

Any differences aren't even worth discussing. Hypocrites are not going to be able to gain any ground on Trump. I've been warning about this for years.

Trump is going to win this one. He's going about it the wrong way but win he will.

Why is it that Trump can set the wall in motion with a simple EO? It's because Obama, Hillary, Biden, etc already voted for it. Did you protest that vote? Did you riot over that vote?

Until the left gets some real principles and actually stands behind them, Trump is going to continue to roll over you.

(CNN)Don't blame us, blame them. In the face of mounting criticism, controversy and lawsuits over its immigrant travel ban, the Trump administration is pointing fingers at the previous occupant of the White House, trying to make the case that its policy is legitimate because Barack Obama did it, too.

"My policy is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months," Trump wrote in a Facebook statement explaining his executive order. "The seven countries named in the Executive Order are the same countries previously identified by the Obama administration as sources of terror."
Don't be fooled. To suggest similarities between Trump's and Obama's actions is to mischaracterize the policies of both presidents in substance, style and spirit.
Trump's executive order severely limits immigration from seven Muslim-majority nations, suspends all refugee admissions for four months and bars all Syrian refugees indefinitely. Legal and foreign policy experts have rightfully raised serious questions about its implications.
Obama never took action on such a sweeping scale. Trump's order temporarily bans about 218 million people from entering the United States. In contrast, in 2011 the Obama administration began additional vetting of Iraqis on Special Immigrant Visas. There was never a ban, temporary or otherwise, on Iraqis coming to the United States. Entries of Iraqis slowed that year because of the additional security measures, but they did not stop.
Moreover, the Obama administration instituted extra screenings in response to a specific threat. In May 2011, two Iraqis who had been admitted as refugees faced federal terrorism charges based on their actions before arriving in the United States. This led Obama's Department of Homeland Security to re-vet 58,000 refugees who were already here and impose more screening on 25,000 Iraqis still at home.
By contrast, Trump's executive order vaguely cites the need for security in the post-9/11 era -- though the order leaves Saudi Arabia, home of most of the 9/11 terrorists, off the list of affected nations. (It also leaves out countries where Trump has done business.)

Why Trump on immigration is nothing like Obama (Opinion) - CNN.com

Quote:
President Donald Trump defended his sweeping immigration policy by calling it “similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months.” That’s a faulty comparison.
There was a delay in processing Iraqi refugees in 2011 after it was discovered that two Iraqi refugees living in Kentucky had been involved in roadside bombing attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq. One of the refugee’s fingerprints were found on a detonation device in Iraq, prompting U.S. immigration, security and intelligence agencies to use federal databases to rescreen about 58,000 Iraqi refugees in the U.S. and more than 25,000 Iraqis who had been approved to enter the U.S., but had not yet been admitted, Department of Homeland Security officials testified at the time.
The Kentucky case not only caused a backlog in processing Iraqi refugees in 2011, but it also resulted in an overhaul of the refugee screening process.
The Obama administration’s actions were limited to one country and in response to a specific threat — the potential for other Iraqi refugees to take advantage of a flaw in the screening process.
By contrast, Trump ordered a far wider ban — albeit also temporary — without identifying a specific threat.

Then Kellyanne hits the news circuit with her well honed bag of bait and switch blaming media for calling it a ban while ignoring Trump, Spicer and she were on the record calling it a ban.
This was hardly "knee jerk." Besides, if we announced in advance that "next week we are going to order a temporary travel ban," what do you think would happen? That's like Obama announcing in advance our war plans to the enemy!

The objection to the media was that they were calling it a Muslim ban, which it is not. Muslims from other countries not on the "list" (included by reference but not published) were not prohibited.

The judges order will most likely be overturned, because it is wrong.

Our First Amendment freedom of religion is not a suicide pact. We are not required to allow freedom to practice a religion the beliefs of which, and the practices of which, are intent on our destruction. That anyone would believe that the First Amendment protects a 'religion' with a seditious intent is absurd. That is the purpose of Islamists in this country. They don't believe in freedom of religion. They want to firmly establish Islam and Islamic ways (Sharia) in America, to the exclusion of all other religion (especially Christianity and Judaism).

They are scary. That's why we're going to check them out first for a change. Then reduce or halt immigration for a period.
We have plenty of people in America already.
