It's not just the liberals who are against Trump. Trump will soon learn how the big boys play when he gets schooled by the Koch brothers and their rich posse....
I don't think the Koch brothers understand how Trump plays this game. They've tried to remain out of the spotlight, and if Trump sees them coming for him, he will light them up. Be interesting to see how they respond.

My understanding is the Koch brothers stayed out of the 2016 presidential election. Though they have a history of supporting Republican candidates, Trump's trade and immigration policies were not a good fit.
"Since the 1970s, Charles and David Koch have spent untold millions on a sprawling network of think tanks, magazines, and advocacy groups devoted to ending the drug war, shrinking the military, opening borders to immigration and trade, rolling back regulations, and cutting government spending."
Charles Murray, a political scientist who delivered remarks to donors at a recent conservative gathering noted that in the past Republicans and Democrats had together defended a shared idea of American values. “The American creed was the basis of individualism and freedom and opportunity.”
“We have a tremendous danger,” Charles Koch said during one session, “because we can go the authoritarian route, or we can move toward a free and open society.”
"Growing attacks on free speech and free association, hostile rhetoric toward immigrants, fear that global trade impoverishes rather than enriches...”]
"The next fight: a fundamental clash of ideas within the GOP."

You said a lot in this post. You are correct that Trump sees being President of this country as nothing more than a game; a game that is all about feeding his ego, all about defeating his "enemies". Trump loves conflict and chaos, he has never had any interest in being a civil servant or representing us, the people. If it does look like he will be defeated in some of his aims? Like a petulant child throwing a tantrum. he will destroy everything around him that he has the power to destroy. For the life of me I cannot understand why people are still standing behind this madman.
