Just admit it, the GOP can't deliver on the promise to repeal and replace because they had no plan all along and did nothing the whole time except complain. Trump already failing to deliver on his campaign promise of repealing ACA on day 1. And where is the wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for? There's been no construction yet. Another failed Trump promise....
The wall is the easy one--parts of it will be built one way or the other because the money has been there since 2007. Walls don't just get built by themsleves (although I am sure that lazy, jobless liberal parasites who have never done an honest day's work in their lives think they do) and it will take some time to get this going.
With Obamacare you have a bit of a point in that he should not have said that he was going to repeal it on day one, but he quickly reneged on that and said that he wanted to keep the popular parts. The health care system is not something that can be changed flippantly ever eight years, and it is to his credit that he now realizes that he has to get this thing right. Contrary to Democrat propganda, he has repeatedly and at every step said that he wants everyone to have good healthcare, so I am actually hoping that he can get a good bill. I don't really know what is to be done, and if he is not sure, then good for him for waiting.

The problem is that they're trying to figure out a way to keep the "good stuff" ("preexisting conditions", "coverage for all") in the ACA while removing the "bad stuff" (mandate).
The problem is that this whole thing doesn't work if you don't keep the "bad stuff" in. An insurance market collapses if all of the healthy people don't sign up. That is the simple and straight truth.
Your choices are basically:
Go back to the way things were before the ACA - people that could afford insurance signed up, and those that were too sick didn't sign up (unless they could afford it). Millions will lose insurance, but you'll mostly have stable markets for everyone else (assuming of course they reign in the major costs that lead to high insurance costs...that is to say, insurance are likely to STILL go up if they don't, which was the case before the ACA came on to the scene - there's actually plenty of evidence that the ACA slowed down insurance rate increase for most people).
Try something akin to the ACA where you force (or incentivize) as many people as possible to sign up - NONE of this works unless young and healthy people sign up. The markets will fail without them.
You can try to have "high risk pools" - but those markets will collapse, and collapse fast. At which point, we'll just be back where we were pre-ACA.
The ACA definitely needs to be re-worked. But regardless of what happens, there will be people that are upset with the outcome (whether they are Republicans who were hoping we could ditch the "bad" stuff, or people that will lose their coverage if the the Republicans try to ditch the "bad" stuff).
I hope whatever happens that people don't die as a result of these decisions. We need to be careful here - we are dealing with the healthcare of millions of people. Some of whom didn't have coverage before ACA. They are not going to take kindly to losing coverage or benefits in their coverage.
As for the wall have you ever seen anything built before, anything ever? They send out surveyors, determine layouts, decide on what type of materials, where they will get them from, who will do the construction, how security at the construction site will be handled, etc. you can't get that going in 20 days, this isn't like going to HD and picking up some chain link and a post hole digger.

Can't even make stuff up stuff like this.
Do you think that maybe Trump's plan is still beinworked on?
Do you think that maybe once the plan is put together, that the congress might actually, you know....read it before they pass it into law? You know....the exact thing they didn't do the last time with Obamacare.
Most polls are showing that people do not want health care repealed. People do not want to go back to the way it was before when they couldn't have health insurance. If the Republicans take away health insurance and give us nothing or give us something that isn't good enough, they will not get re-elected. They know this.
They take away health care and someone's mother dies as a result. A Trump voter needs surgery but can't get it. Trump voters' kids get seriously ill and could be cured but there's no insurance so they die. Yeh, that's going to be really popular.
They're going to have to come up with something better than health care vouchers aka coupon care.
They're got themselves in really deep now, promising that they can give us something better. We want something better but we would rather wait until they can get it right. Even those of us who don't like the Republicans don't want them to fail, not on this anyway. This is life or death.

I waited 8 yrs for Hope and Change - I'm willing to give Trump a few more months!
Yet last year republicans passed a bill to repeal Obamacare knowing full well Obama would veto it. Now with trump in the big chair, nothing.
whats the excuse GOP?
