I asked what harm would it be to non-US citizens having to wait for 90 days. There was nothing in the post about legal permanent residents, and I was not referring to them.
Legal permanent residents are by definition non-US citizens. Bit I'll take your word that it was a terminology issue at hand.
All this trumpisst angst every week over SNL reminds me of the good ole days... remember when the republican VP, dan quayle, was chastising murphy brown for becoming an unwed mother?
For those who may be too young for the reference - murphy brown was a character on a television show, and dan quayle, although actually being the VP for the original prez. bush, appears to have been simply an early version of kelly anne conway.
Here is a list of advertisers to contact to request they reassess their participation in SNL. Many will start bailing out of fear. Pfizer is one that no longer going to advertise on snl.
OK, so maybe Pfizer has done some research, and realizes that their signature medication for both late night and mid afternoon spots - VIAGRA - isn't one that SNL's new audience demographic needs. SNL is no place for old, white, republican men, so why waste advertising dollars there?
Not only that, SNL itself is cutting the amount of advertising time available by about 30%.
"The show’s top sponsors, which in 2015 included Apple, State Farm, T-Mobile, Verizon and Volkswagen, according to Kantar Media, would no doubt be curious to learn more."
What?!? Pfizer isn't one of their top sponsors? Wow, looks like no great loss to SNL.

I was thinking that pharmaceuticals are not exactly Saturday Night Live's audience. Look how often some talk about watching SNL in the 70s and that they don't watch anymore. Are they acknowledging that that was 40 years ago and maybe they have changed?
Given all the missteps in these early days of Trump & Co. isn't it more important to ask if this new administration has gone too far? After all, they are leading country. SNL is just a television show.
For a change, the whole show was funny. Hilarious in spots even.
I think I'll keep this one on my DVR and watch it again.
Looking forward to next week.
I FFed through the opening. I saw the last one. I don't need a rehash and can't stand that obese actress.
I thought the digital short was pretty intense. Hats off to McKinnen and the dude. It didn't seem like a comedy sketch, though the audience was laughing, feeling like they were supposed to I guess.
I can take SNL. They are throwing softball's. After all, it's just a TV show.
I stopped watching that a couple years ago when they went off the deep end. Years and years ago they were funny. Today it's a bunch of liberal hack writers that can't find jobs anywhere else to push their political views.
The Spicer skit was absolutely hilarious. And, I nearly fell over laughing when I saw the person playing Sessions. That was really funny
