When? I think there was some concern about not aiding Crimea, but as I recall it was the right that criticized Obama for not doing enough not only there, but in Syria as well.

So where is it? Where was the call to arms against Russia on 'the left'?

C'mon folks, throw this Buckley Conservative a bone or I'm gonna be in the middle of this BS alt right lie fest until my party gets back to normal. Like you know- treating Russia like the autocratic, freedom hating adversary that it is..

No one's trying to go to war with anyone. We just have a problem with our president and his administration being a puppet govt controlled by Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin. Apparently that's okay to you guys but it's not okay with us.

this mccarthyism from the left is insane, all the fake news involving Russia. practically all the news is either Trump or Russia.

it's a blessing from God they haven't reacted harsher to the ongoing left who cried wolf.

i'm a proud American but it would still be smart to align with another superpower to destroy ISIS. yet, the left seems more determined to instigate war half the time and the other half de-humanize Trump even more.

the Soros/Clinton/U.S. left are really the bad guys... not Russia
There's an implication here that trump's shady dealings (or at least those of some of his appointees) with Russia have to do with stamping out ISIS, or otherwise do some good for the world, or just to, by golly, patch up things between old friends!

I submit there is less than zero evidence for this and no reason to suppose it is so. Indeed, it would have been more politically expeditious for the trump administration to let it play that way to the masses. Instead, this whole Russia issue has come out in short bursts of "Oh crap, this is screwed up!" Just coming together piecemeal with one little revelation after another.

Consider: both trump and putin are wealthy authoritarian megalomaniacs who are known frauds and liars. In the case of putin, most likely a murderer or someone who has had people killed. They aren't nice, good guys.

Both nations-the USA and Russia--have become, essentially, corporations (primarily oil and war profiteering) with armies.

What good could come of back door dealings between these people and their cronies?

If they were uniting to defeat ISIS or some other benevolent purpose, why the cloak and dagger BS?

Something stinks like the corruption of diseased flesh.

I guess refusing to lick Putin's boots is the same as going to war against him.

... clean out the old Y2K bunker in the backyard or basement and prepare for the apocalypse.

Stock up on peanut butter and bottled water.

Perhaps the most bitter pill in all this is the brazen, stinking hypocrisy from the trump lemmings.

If clinton, obama or any non-GOP pres had even a whiff of this kind of business happening with putin, the lemmings would be howling for blood, burning people in effigy and demanding impeachment or worse. And this we all know.

They would rather turn on their fellow citizens-- the democRaticlibt@rdsocialistcommiecrazynutjob--(one of the many, many boogeymen the cowardly trump lemmings have been taught to hate and fear)--than admit a con man like trump might not be just a swell old rich dude who cares so much for the average American.

This, of course, is because the trump dupes are brazen, stinking hypocrites.

Or perhaps their paws have been caught in the vodka jar. Now they must defend the Kremlin any way possible. What are they going to do when Trump steps down? Sing the Beatles tune about how lucky you are back in the USSR?
