I'd like to know the answer to this question and also what would they rather we call them...and don't say "Americans" because we're all Americans, even those of us who think Mr. Trump is totally unqualified for the job he was elected to do.
Conservatives love women, which is why we want them to have the right to carry a gun to protect themselves.
BTW, Trump doesn't necessarily equate to conservative; although, many conservatives back much of what he has promised to do.

Other than the term is meant to be insulting there's probably no reason for someone to be offended.
