What a waste for anyone to pay for a newspaper and then having to try to fact check what is true and what isn't.

Stop drinking the Trump cool-aide! He's the one spouting and creating the most "fake news." He lies on a daily basis.

Really? And 100,000 troops are being mobilized to round up illegals as we speak and General Flynn said he's being used as a scapegoat as well... right?

I had a NYT subscription for decades, but I gave it up about 6 or 7 years ago. The reports used to be much less biased and much more factual. At one time, the journalists had integrity. The editorials always leaned left, but the journalism (the actual news) was informative. Now they are just trying to compete with internet "journalists" to keep from going bankrupt, so integrity takes a back seat.

She believes every word of it. That's the scary part, how easy it is to lie to people. Trump's lies are not even believable yet his followers believe every word.

NY Times represents the "information ages "political tragedy in newsprint.

So when will the 100,000 troops deploy in your city? Are you heading out to protest this?

It isn't full of lies because news sources would cease to exist from defending and losing the multitude of libel lawsuits.

What I believe is they don't always have all the facts and sometimes will put in editorial pieces that offer their own opinions, however that is also fact checked so they don't get in trouble.

They don't intentionally "lie". At least not the major newspapers. But they do intentionally leave out facts and only show one side of the issue. They shouldn't be trying to steer the reader in a particular direction. That is not journalism. They are supposed to report the facts. ALL the facts.

Why is anyone still paying for a newspaper when it is full of lies?

Because it's not as bad as a POTUS who's full of lies.
