This is what happens when others think they speak for all people in America. All it does is alienate and tick people off and do the opposite.

I might buy one myself.

Ivanka Trump

Quote:
Ivanka Trump’s signature perfume is a best seller on retail giant Amazon.

Ivanka Trump Eau de Parfum Spray For Women ($34 for a 3.4-ounce bottle) was No. 1 on Amazon’s list of bestselling fragrances and perfume for at least the third consecutive day. Another of the first daughter’s products, Ivanka Trump For Women Roller Ball ($15), was No. 3 on Saturday. One reviewer wrote: “I normally buy this at Nordstrom. But now that I heard they will not carry it anymore, I was happy to find it on Amazon.” (Radha Beauty Aromatherapy was at No. 2 on Amazon’s list.) The success of the perfume on Amazon suggests the “resistance economy” to boycott products associated with the family of President Trump can help a brand as well as hurt it.

Lol. Amazon is #8 on Grab Your Wallets hate list. I guess owning the Washington Post wasn't enough to insulate Jeff Bezos from the whack jobs on the left.

Guess she found her market. It obviously isn't with Nordstrom shoppers.

Your comment smells of elitism. Interesting a public servant seems to be sniffing haughtily at the lowly proletariat who pay her salary.

Considering I am an Amazon Prime member and I own two pieces of Ivanka Trump clothing, I hardly am an elite.

I barely can afford Nordstrom, but even I know that her brand isn't a great fit for that store. Whether their dropping her was political or sales, I doubt even if political they would have done it if it was selling like gangbusters. Her sales were down 30-something percent. She does better in stores and areas that are more accessible to the average person who likes her clothing line, which is fairly basic.

For some reason, I sense quite derision in your post and it's scary that you are aware of my 8 years of public service.

Scary? Nonsense. You have written about your job often in many posts.

As to accusing me of derision, that is ironic. You made the statement that Ivanka Trump supporters don't shop at Nordstrom. What other inference than elitism could be assumed from such a comment? I was responding to you.
