Is Donald Trump the new icon for conservatives?

I've never seen such devotion to any politician before! It seems like the majority of Republican voters, at least as of now, are very passionate Donald Trump fans.

I'm sure the students that attended Trump University feel the same way about this guy of such impeccable integrity.

BTW.. Do you refer to the measly 27% of all eligible voters....LOL

Well, most of his supporters don't care what he does.

Like, can you imagine if Barack Obama made those same comments about John McCain? For most people that would be a big no-no, but when Trump does it, it's totally okay to most conservatives.

And yes, I'm referring to Republican voters who went for Trump, not the entire population of the US.

Stop focussing on useless stuff like this .. we Trump supporters aren't.

Thread after thread people are asking leading stupid questions designed to make Trump supporters look like idiots when in reality we live in your neighbourhoods, go to your schools, are as smart or smarter than you are, as educated in most cases as you are, and even probably support a lot of the same causes you do too. You meet us on the street, in the workplace, in the stores, on vacations, doing the same things as you do everywhere every day .. and yet, you don't have a clue who we are and what we think but you think you do - but, here on the internet, you want to tell us what we think and categorize us as fools. Please .. just stop. It is getting no one anywhere.

Reagan had the respect of people from both sides of the aisle, even when disagreeing with him on policy. Reagan was a decent, moral person who treated all others with respect. Lots of people who are scum bags have passionate fans, that doesn't prove a damn thing. Mr. Trump is no Ronald Reagan.

If you are actually a Trump supporter, why would you take issue with my thread? Is he not a guy you can confidently stand behind?

My point was...thankfully, with that small amount of support, the guy has no mandate and we can all be grateful for that! To here it from his supporters, he is the most popular guy on the planet and the best thing since sliced bread.
