I believe I've stated other defenses such as humanitarianism, community, etc.
Of course you can make a humanitarian argument in favor of immigration. But you can a humanitarian argument in favor of the government confiscating your house and giving it to immigrants.
You can make a humanitarian argument for the complete confiscation and redistribution of all wealth/property.
You can make a humanitarian argument in favor of preferential hiring of minorities, including in the case of your job.
The question isn't whether we should want to help people. We should. The question is how much should we give up(or be forced to give up) to help people? Should we do like Jesus and give away all of our Earthly possessions?
And if you don't, are you a bad person?
When ISIS strikes me on my cheek, should I simply turn my other cheek to them? Or should I do something to protect myself?
As for my ancestors. The United States didn't bring them to America because we were trying to be nice. The Irish were the original Mexicans. They were brought in as cheap labor to work in the factories. And what happened in Ireland, was the result of basically English occupation/domination.
The English confiscated most of the lands in Ireland, leaving the natives with almost nothing. Then while the Irish were starving, the English shipped massive quantities of grain, grown in Ireland, back to England, and intentionally starved the Irish, even going so far as to turn American relief ships away.
His comment was 100% BS. Nothing happened in Sweden Friday night. Event the even this week was over a drug bust and police accidentally opening fire at a crowd.

It appears to me that when he was talking about "last night", he was referring to what the report on Tucker showed.
Watch this CNN report to see what I'm talking about.
