It is pointing out your rather blind hypocrisy. No one is excusing here because it is a "trump"
googles eric schmidt is also a tax dodger too. Here is another interesting link.

$5,000.00?

I'm sure it'll be handled, with one thirty second phone call, or a one sentence text to her banker.

That is, if it isn't fake news to begin with.

The small business owners Trump never fully paid - CNNPolitics.com

It is a well known fact here in NYC and one assumes elsewhere that often it is those "worth billions" or millions who are the worst customers. They either pay late, don't pay at all, nickel and dime every single bill to haggle the price down. This or find fault with work done so can claim shoddy workmanship in order not to pay. The Trump daughter did this before IIRC, with suppliers to her jewelry business.

Common is as common does.....

I'm more interested in the fact that feds are cracking down on the Cuomo corruption that's been going on for years. Silverman finally arrested, Buffalo developer Ciminelli and companions indicted - all very popular Hillary supporters who donated big time to her campaign.
Why would it be up to the tax preparer to pay her bill?

She learned from Daddy!

In 2015, the New York Supreme Court ordered Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry to cough up a whopping $2,375,000 plus interest for refusing to pay its supplier, according to a press release. Trump's company unsuccessfully argued that it didn't pay because the supplier, KGK Jewelry, had supposedly been in violation of the contract by returning some computer-generated designs one day late.

Must have been a slow news day. $5000 in a State comptroller deal.
My wife hates the State Comptroller, with their hand out.....
They are pretty lenient on that for a month or 2, because they don't want you to go out of managing the business for them.(going out of business) You don't own your business... You just manage it for the city and state.

Like father like daughter. Rules and laws and taxes are for the little people .She'll post a photo of one of her children to distract everyone. It's the Trumps' new sleight of hand. Look at the kids! Not at us breaking the law and cozying up to the Russians (we see you Kushner) and wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on golf weekends.

Those kids will be on Instragram so much they'll ask for a SAG card.

Exactly!

Financial planners, accountants, tax preparers, the whole lot who manage the affairs of wealthy and or business persons act upon instructions from their clients. Bills are prepared or come in, and checks/permission for payment sought.

Try going before the IRS or local tax official claiming ignorance of taxes owed because your preparer "didn't pay". Only hope is you have something in writing or otherwise instructing said person to pay, otherwise the responsibility lies with the person or company.
