Why is any White House/administration not 'entitled' to pick any news source they wish (if any) to tell about current events?
Their circus, their monkeys. Ours not, in this case, to question why (these are their choices).
If they restricted all media from reporting anything about anyone anywhere or any time from any source, that would be an infringement of media (and our) rights. And at that point we should all protest, VERY loudly - and have it taken as fast as possible up the ladder to the Supreme Court.
But, their 'choice' if they are selecting particular groups to get access or even if they give limited access to some and more to others, etc. for their particular news only is not of real import. If you want the NYT to get better access perhaps you should lobby the NYT to clean up their act. They are better writers perhaps than most but they are just as slanted many times as the worst of them.
That's not the point, the point is that 1) the Trump administration does not want to face hard questions and 2) Trump is the president of ALL Americans, even those who did not support him.
Trump is basically forcing the media to kiss his you know what and praise him in exchange for access. That's not right. Obama never barred FOX News. He even went on FOX several times. We're headed for some dangerous times. I don't care if your liberal, independent, conservative, pro-Trump, or anti-Trump THIS IS NOT RIGHT! Period.
seems the only people that have a problem with this are hillary supporters. this is the most transparent administration in history so far and all they ask is for is fair and unbiased reporting. the outlets barred can write whatever they want. access is earned and is not a right because you call yourself the press.
Maybe those that were banned will realize if they are NOT going to "report" the truth, then they are not worthy of being considered the "press" and will be put in the same category as the National Enquirer and the likes of Huff Post.
Then kick Brietbart out. After there's fake news, and then there is gold gilded bull crap news like Brietbart.

If it's the "most transparent administration in history" why is it banning news organizations that ask tough questions? That actually sounds like the exact opposite of transparency. If his administration is so transparent, what is he afraid of?
WaldoKitty (and some of you others) .. please stop making so much sense. I can't continue to rep you all day (though I would like to) .. this system won't let me.
