Well we told you Washington State would stand up to trump

First our AG crushed Trumps Muslim ban
Now our Gov kicks Trumps trash orders out of our state.

Jay Inslee signed an EO prevents our police being used for ICE raids, ICE stops etc.
Washingtonians can feel safe knowing a traffic stop won't end with them being deported...

THANK YOU JAY!

Governor Jay Inslee Issues Executive Order Blocking State from Participating in Federal Immigration Raids, Religious Registry - Slog - The Stranger

Washington governor Jay Inslee has issued an executive order of his own: one that expressly prohibits state agencies from inquiring about a person's immigration status, participating in federal immigration raids, or aiding in the creation of a religious registry.

At a morning press conference in Olympia, Inslee announced that Washington "will not be a willing participant in mean-spirited policies that break up families and compromise our national security, and most importantly our community safety."
The executive order clarifies existing state law on these matters, Inslee's general counsel Nick Brown told reporters, in order to head off Trump administration policies that impact Washington residents. Undocumented immigrants make up nearly 5 percent of Washington's workforce and dreamers—immigrants brought to the United States as children who are legally authorized to be here under the Obama-era Deferred Action Childhood Arrival program (DACA)—number more than 17,000 in the state.

Kinda like the slaveowners felt about Americans before slavery was banned in 1865. Their kind in 2017 still like their illegal alien "slaves".

Too; Washington State WILL be put in its place by Trump's people over this hot mess.

wow you are clutching at straws.

Must suck for you to see Washington crush your hate filled Muslim ban. And it must really rile you up to see us treat people with respect and decency .

Washington State has nothing to fear, we have laws we have money. And we will crush him in court should he seek revenge.... That is exactly why we have our various branches of gov. To stop buttheads like Trump and Bannon.

Sounds if the idiotic governor wants the same thing to happen in Washington state, that this sort of thing led to in another "sanctuary" location.

Very dangerous Illegal was slated for deportation. Local police let him go before ICE could get there. Illegal murders an innocent guy at a light rail station.

Illegal Alien Charged With Murder In Colorado Was Wanted For Deportation (Video)

Never understood this leftist mentality of protecting criminals.

Washington just won't help Trump. Trump can do what he wants but Washington doesn't have to help him. Washington is probably too liberal for most on POC (which is great, we are full) but we voted for gay marriage and marijuana so Trump's right wingery just doesn't belong.

I have read where the ICE raids are about the same as they were before Trump, no more no less, business as usual. It is the media making a big deal of something that has been going on for a long time to make Trump look bad.
