How in the hell is "Jose Torres" going to explain to his "Raza" that he got locked up for defending the Confederate flag and pointing a shotgun at an 8 yr old birthday party? Because he will have to be with Hispanic brothers in prison. He will go protective custody pc real fast.

Well, the press keeps harping on the birthday party, but they did terrorized others that day too. I can't remember all the details, but it was super bad. I'm a tad surprised they themselves didn't get shot, I guess they caught people off guard.

I am struck by her tearful plea about how "This isn't who I am."

Of course this is who she is.

If it wasn't who she was, she wouldn't have been able to spend two days terrorizing Walmart shoppers, kids at birthday parties, etc.

I doubt prison will change that, but at least it will give everyone in the community a break from their mayhem for a few years.

As to their prison sentences being too long, too expensive, that others have committed worse crimes for shorter sentences -- >>shrug<<

People have been imprisoned for decades over marijuana, so spare me.

They can rot. The victims are much bigger people than I am for forgiving them. Judges need to keep hitting racists with hard sentences like this. We need to send the message that we as a country are NOT okay with this sort of behavior. It's terrorism, simple as that, and should be treated as such in the court of law.
