I wish I could share your optimism. The Democrats have been working since 1965 to replace the traditional American people with foreign imports who will vote for the people who gave them the bonanza of US citizenship. Unless Trump really comes through on immigration, it will be game over for the American people in 10 or 12 years.

If the Republican Party can separate itself from the Evangelicals and catch up on social issues, the DNC is in for real trouble.

I can see how Millennials could become less liberal and more conservative in their voting... since they won't be making the money that their parents did and also because they are self-centered selfish people. Therefore, not as interested in giving handouts to the chronically poor or being sympathetic towards illegals and other foreigners.

And become conservative again.

A large number of Millenials identify as socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Since both parties are complete flops fiscally that sort of leaves the Democrats which is why Millenials vote Democrat in such huge numbers. Catching up on social issues would certainly swing some Millenials to vote Republican but really if they'd just becoming fiscally conservative I'd probably tolerate the Evangelical line. There's really no hope for the Democrats to become fiscally conservative. The general consensus there is that most Millenials are just too stupid to know that fiscally conservative and socially liberal are mutually exclusive.

That's part of your problem. I'm conservative but I don't think I have the right to dictate someone else's sexual preferences and actually I don't care, as long as they don't hurt or take from others and hopefully they are happy.

The problem with the left they view the world through their lens. Just because you believe you must shove your idea's up my azz, doesn't mean I feel that way about you. In other words, you project your mentality. Of course liberal media constantly telling you how I feel about things even though they don't know me doesn't help.

Ahh but thats the rub. How do you know how I feel about social issues? Because liberal media tells you how I feel? Because I'm conservative liberal media tells you I hate gays, I'm racist and on and on. They don't know me from eve and yet their telling you what I think. Dumber yet is you believe them.

Just because they tell you how to think doesn't mean they tell me how to think

They are not stupid at all. They are just not going to play this game of the 2 party system. And who can blame them. I think we should all get off of this merry go round because they all suck. And they are only out for their best interests.

Frankly, I have no clue whether you're a racist, homophobic bigot or not. Strawmen are just dumb though.

The liberal Democrats have made their own bed and now they have to sleep in it.

They are a party for bergoise, NIMBY's who love regulation that makes peoples lives difficult.

I don't think I have met more then a few liberal people in their 20s in the Midwest and based on the voting trends the South seems similar.

It is a fringe party for those in big, coastal cities on the coasts. There influence is smaller and smaller as time progresses.
