Nope, since him and his entire family don't hire or buy American. Ivanka's clothing line is made overseas. Trump ties are made in China. Trump hired undocumented workers at Mar-A-Lago. So it's just more lies and hypocrisy from Trump.

And after what Republicans have done to this country, I kinda do hate America. It's turned into a corruption, Russia-esque cesspool.

Article seems to be more about congress wanting to know specifics than liberals hating on anything. Then again THEY write the laws, president just signs them.

We'd never have had so many imported products if Americans just insisted on buying American - no laws or politics required. Of course it's going to be hard to put that genie back in the bottle, and some industries will never come back, but nothing wrong with trying. People like to blame corporations and politicians, and there's blame to go around, but it couldn't have happened without American consumers buying into it (pun intended).

I will be honest with you here.

Cars: I have an American brand pickup truck because I think it looks "cool". I like German cars and I doubt this will change for me. So I will keep getting German cars.

Electronics: I like buying anything made in Japan.

Guns: I've been reading Chris Kyle's book "American Gun: A History of the U.S. in Ten Firearms" and I also have been watching a TV series called American guns. I realized that many of the popular guns are not really "American". So I am still doing my research and I would like to purchase guns that are American.

My family businesses always make our products here in the United States, something I am very proud of saying. We have always hired Americans (natural born citizens and immigrants) another thing I am very proud of saying.

I think hiring Americans is very doable. Buying American 100%, quite difficult.

FYI - Buy American was instituted by the Obama administration as a part of "the stimulus" in 2009-2010.

It is a liberal created and supported plan...

Thank you for reading my mind and those of the majority of Americans.

I'll buy and hire whomever I want.

Getting ready to take bids on a major home improvement job. My partner and I agree: any contractor who shows up with a tRump flag or bumper sticker won't get the job.

False dichotomy.

Anything still made in the USA is made by robots. "Buying American" won't bring back the manufacturing jobs. Those jobs are gone forever.

Capitalism and profit-motive eliminated the factory jobs; it wasn't "the liberals" who did it.

Ironically, ultimately (short sighted?) American consumers sealed the deal on factory jobs. Capitalism alone couldn't have forced it.
