well, Marine Corps is not covering this up OBVIOUSLY!!! Why is this becoming a news? Oh, I know it, because it is not the norm in the Marine Corps! Duh!

If a Marine shared a photo of another person that was taken without that person’s consent and under circumstances in which that other person had a reasonable expectation of privacy, the Marine may have violated Article 120c, UCMJ, for broadcasting or distribution of an indecent visual recording. A Marine who directly participates in, encourages, or condones such actions could also be subjected to criminal proceedings or adverse administrative actions.

They would even be the ex marines. It is not like any other professions don't have losers like that.

NOTHING you put online is private. If you post something on to Instagram, you may as well forget any anonymity.

I'm sure quite a few will blame the women for sharing those photos in the first place, absolving those responsible for spreading it of any blame whatsoever ("those 'sluts,' they deserve what they got")

So, victims should never take responsibilities for their actions? If I leave 100 dollars on my car hood and it gets stolen, should I not be blamed for failing to take reasonable and common sense responsibility for securing my money?

It is sort of common sense knowing that if "action A" occurs, then "action B" potentially will occur. A victim has the basic responsibility of not knowingly putting themselves in the position of being a victim.

This photo sharing thing has been going on for years and years, I person has to be living under a rock not to know that any photo will potentially be shared.
