Yes, because you know so many trump supporters and Russians.
I have met quite a lot of Russians during my life, both in Russia and in Germany. Some of my neighbors are Russians.
Germany with a Russian migration background are strongly in favor of voting for the AFD. Supporters of all parties in Germany are strongly against Trump. With one exception, the AFD.
Similar as Trump supporters, Russians are quite macho and chauvinistic. Both groups have a distinct reluctance against free media. Tend to be shallow and have little interest into details. Prefering simple "solutions".
The same BS Trump supporters post in this forum you can find in German forums from Russian immigrants or lower class Germans or from Russians on international forums.
NATO might have seen its day pass. Marie Le Penn says France should leave the united command. Greece has mad noise about leaving. What role would England have if Scotland becomes independent and takes its naval and air bases with it? What do Italy and Spain care or could do even if they did care?
Maybe a new organization of countries bordering Russia and other in Central Europe will feel the need for a common defense while the more westerly NATO countries won't. If so, how can American interest be maintained?
Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland, Poland can form their own Military Force to defend themselves from Russia, And the truth is that Germany attacked Russia two times, Not Russia to Germany.
And Russia has allied more times with UK and USA than with any European Country. since the Napoleonic Wars.
In any case these days the only Alien forces in Europe are the USA ones.
Actually most overseas bases are shared with the host nation's military. For instance, Lajes Field in the Azores is shared with the Portuguese Air Force and part of the Portuguese Army's Azores garrison. US Navy bases in Japan are shared with the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (the post WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy). Thule AFB is Greenland is shared with the Royal Danish Air Force. FOB Curacao is the main base of the Royal Netherlands Air Force in the Caribbean and is also used by the Royal Netherlands Navy's aviation branch.
Very, very few of our overseas bases are purely American bases.
Basically all U.S. bases in Germany are purely U.S. bases.
As far as I know the German taxpayers have to pay partially for the construction on these bases. They also have to pay for all the damages committed by the U.S. forces and for removal for soil contamination.
Grafenwöhr is reportedly the largest U.S. military training area outside of the U.S. But it's still not big enough for them. Why they constantly need to train on private property? Probably because they don't have to pay for the damages. Why they can't act responsible?

Of those countries I think only Germany and Poland feel the Russian presence enough to be worried. (Sweden is re-introducing conscription in response to increasing Russian menace, too.) Other countries with a simulacra of interest include the Baltics, the remains of the Austrian Empire, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and other former states of the USSR.
I could see these countries allying if NATO fades.

I studied in Germany and used to use the laundry machines at a couple of US bases.
There were usually a few Bundeswehr units using it along with a smattering of Dutch and Danish soldiers.
It was clear the US was in charge but other NATO countries were involved.

Lol, as I stated, as if you know many Russians and Trump supporters, in which you clearly do not by what you stated in this post.

Many of them are shared for political reasons only, so they can throw the label of the host base on it, like RAF Lakenheath. But reality is they just have a small presence, if any, and if not for the US, the bases would be closed down, just as many have been closed after the US left since the 1990's.
