since I believe you have mentioned before that you are in the medical field...tell me what other employers might pay 100% of the premium....not many at all... infact under the ACA, government set it at 75% from employers(which is what most companies do)

so for example if you get paid every two weeks and the deduction from your pay check is 200 (about 433 a month) the fact is your company is paying 1299 a month for your insurance, your 25% is the 433..the total premium is over 1730 a month

that 1730 a month is what you would be paying if you were self-employed

I am a government worker... my Aetna premium (my share is 25%) just went up in January my cost every 2 weeks (family) was 192/2week...now 250/2week

the funniest thing is I got the 'cost of living' wage increase in January... my raise worked out to be about 49 for the 2 week pay period...yet my insurance went up 58... so the "great" wage increase I got from Obama and congress...I LOST MONEY
We have Aetna and I hate them. I think they are crooks. I can't tell you the problems I've had with them. I could write a book. And you don't have to school me on health insurance. It's my husbands field.

Then don't pay it. Drop out of that insurance plan. In your prior post you said you didn't want it.

1. its mandatory as a government worker

2. ACA made insurance mandatory or pay a penalty

I don't like insurance..I believe in paying my own way...my feeling is if you get a service (be it medical or anything else) you pay for that service you receive, you don't expect any other person or entity to pay your bill

Look for a job that doesn't offer health insurance then. A simple solution. Live by your convictions, not just talk them. Be intellectually honest.

Is the ACA penalty now being enforced? Not so sure.

Healthcare will be determined by lobbyists, until Trump finally votes the bill people want, via the lobbyists.
We dont have say anymore, and the bill that gets to Trumps desk is just another wealth redistribution for the lobbyists. I really think Trump wants a great bill that everyone that is not linked to DC likes, but the cold hard reality is he will get what the wealthy want to pay into and receive money from.

Yes you did. I complained often. Under Obama and Obamacare the (D)'s lost the House and Senate so you indeed did see people complain.

Obamacare favored the pharmaceutical and insurance industries.

While some got covered they could not afford to use that coverage.

This has been pointed out hundreds of times but yet people for some odd reason insist on supporting this pile of crap. I suppose "the left" can argue that since they have nothing else to lose, what the heck.

How do you plan on paying for the bridge you need to cross to get to your job?
