Canadian actor and filmmaker Seth Rogen believes it is important that resistance to Donald Trump’s presidency and his policy agenda be “normalized.”
“I don’t want to look back in ten years and think, ‘I just didn’t say anything during that time,’ because it seems like a time where it’s very important to normalize dissent,” Rogen told the Daily Beast in an interview at the SXSW festival, where his latest film, The Disaster Artist, premiered this week.

The Sausage Party star says he’s “been very conscious not to insult people who voted for Donald Trump,” but believes it also important for him to normalize “the idea that a lot of people do not think that he is a good president, and do not think that he is bringing the country in a good direction, and not making it seem like some fringe, out-there thing that only really aggressive people who have whipped themselves into some sort of frenzy are expressing.”

Rogen added that “as a white dude,” he realizes that he’s “not the one who’s in real trouble right now
.”

Seth Rogen: 'Important to Normalize Dissent

do you agree?

We will make our dissent known in the voting booth in 2018. And then again in 2020. The damage this administration is doing will simply be wiped away with not so much as a second thought. So...no worries here.

After the beating Trump just took from Hillary, I tend to agree.

It's quite normalized; the public, the press, the judiciary, even some Republican senators and representatives....pretty much everyone who isn't a stooge or greedy hack is resisting this so-called president.

Well, he's Canadian...so whatever. But he did his part and stood up to Trump when he "tweeted" this to Donald Junior: "Please ask your dad to resign before he destroys the planet. Thanks dude."
What a guy! We should all follow his lead.

The numbers of those resisting will continue to rise.

In all fairness he tweeted that right after he took a huge bong hit.

I see just the opposite happening in my day to day interactions but if Hollywood is your litmus test then you are probably right.

I wonder if Mr. Roger uses all his tax deductions or if he pays his fair share and just mails in 50% of his income to the IRS?
