Exclusive: Almost half of Canadians want illegal border crossers deported - Reuters poll | Reuters

Quote:
Nearly half of Canadians want to deport people who are illegally crossing into Canada from the United States, and a similar number disapprove of how Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is handling the influx, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Monday.

A significant minority, four out of 10 respondents, said the border crossers could make Canada "less safe," underlining the potential political risk for Trudeau's Liberal government.

The increasing flow of hundreds of asylum-seekers of African and Middle Eastern origin from the United States in recent months is becoming a contentious issue in Canada.

Righteousness is easy when it costs nothing. It's always amazing how fast that high moral ground crumbles when it comes with a price tag.

I guess Canada should build a wall since the USA is not controlling migration. Kind of like the USA is accusing Mexico of not controlling migration from Central America.

Believe it or not, I do have liberal friends but believe me I do not talk politics with them. Would like to remain friendly.

...but I thought all POLLS were wrong. I mean, Trump has a 95.4859% approval rating in the REAL world. So this is probably wrong too

Here's the problem with saying everything is fake news...then nothing becomes real or legitimate, and morality just becomes some malleable/meaningless thing
