You do realize, that a missile that size, from North Korea to Seattle, Washington is around 5,000 miles. Assuming that N. Korea had a way to guide the missile and fly it below radar. N. Korea is very sneaky.
Lets just say it travels as fast as a jet airplane, it would take at least 10 hours to reach Seattle. Our Navy would blow that missile up way before it came anywhere close to the USA.
I do know how ICBM's are really launched, but N. Korea knows that wont work.
Yet another thread trying to tie Trump into some bizarre link to North Korea and starting nuclear war.
OP is carrying water for Trump and doesn't even realize it....way to create noise for him....but you're probably not bright enough to realize that you're achieving the opposite of your goal.
So North Korea is America's new enemy? I thought it was Iran. In the sixties, the Soviet Union was going to nuke the US, we were told. For a time, Iraq was going to destroy America with their never-found WMD.
Information superhighway or not, something never changes. Idiots are always idiots.

This is yet another mess that Obama has left behind that Trump will now have to deal with.

Facts?
Dear, N. Korea has the missiles. They weren't supposed to develop them based on deals that Bill Clinton made and obviously they were working on them the entire 8 years that Obama was in office. The Chinese could have made N. Korea stop, but Obama was absolutely afraid of the Chinese. They laughed at him daily for how they constantly took advantage of him.
Those are the facts. You simply refuse to acknowledge them. There is a big difference and it's not my or anyone else's burden to correct.

The fact is that Dubya cut off negotiations with N Korea, and the result was that they developed nukes.
Now, Pubs want to torpedo the agreement with Iran so that they can develop a nuclear arsenal, too.

At this point those are alleged facts unsupported by anything factual. You've alleged Clinton paid N Korea appeasement to not develop ICBMs, prove it. Otherwise it's just another baseless allegation.
Pentagon officials believe the North Korean communist regime could soon have an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of hitting the United States, given the recent ground based rocket engine thrust test. They have attempted a missile launch withing the last 24 hours (that failed), presumably with the ICBM capable engine. But clearly it is just a matter of time before they have an ICBM and a warhead to match.
Apparently SOS Rex Tillerson suggested to Fox News's Rich Edson that the US would not rule out helping Asian allies Japan and South Korea to get nuclear weapons.
The good news is that Tillerson seems to comprehend the emerging threat of Kim Jong Un's nuclear program - at least he understands the gravity of the situation.
But then Tillerson criticizes the strategy of "strategic patience". His off the cuff remarks are surprising, considering that he and Trump have zero experience in this arena. In fact, it contradicts Trump's often repeated statements about how he would keep his military strategies on the low-down, rather than blab them to the world in advance. This seems to go directly against against that philosophy, and makes you wonder if Tillerson actually vetted these statements with Trump. Also makes you wonder how well he is working with the senior military advisors that surely understand Kim Jong-Un far better than he does. Does Tillerson really think that Kim Jong-Un will be cowed by the fact that he is surrounded by nukes in neighboring countries? It's like Tillerson/Trump think that that Kim Jong-Un has a rational mind.
The bad news of course is that the USA now has a Commander in Chief that is nearly as crazy as Kim Jong-Un. Manically twittering away in the middle of the night, this is a man that clearly has no brake between the thoughts in his head and his mouth and his twitter-thumbs. Do we really trust this guy to make sound strategic decisions in a situation like we have with North Korea? Do we really believe he will spend the time to deeply understand the prior experience of his military leaders regarding this issue and then take their advice? Wish I could say "yes" to those questions, but so far Trump has shown us that he will take advice from no one.
Two lunatics with nuclear weapons and little self control - how could this possibly go wrong?
Whatever Trumps plan is, I'm sure it's superior to Obamas- which was to bury his head in the sand, and wait for his religion of Islam to take over America.
