His approval ratings will likely go down in liberal states but who cares, the election is decided in a dozen or so states and those are the only ones that count.

It is good that so much Republican leadership such as the house speaker and vice-president is from the Middle-of the country.
I am disappointed in people here if this is true. Too focused on the letter R by his name and just other nonsense.

I guess that's right.

They don't need high poll numbers.

They don't need experienced people.

They don't need facts.

They don't need explanations of policy plans.

They don't need articulate speakers.

They don't need intelligence.

They don't need serious news sources.

Quite an easy audience of suckers.

And, actually, plenty in Florida thinks he's a dolt.

As far as OH, MI, PA and WI? If he doesn't come through on the massive amount of high-paying promised jobs, he can kiss those people good by as well.

His rock solid cult who adore his personality are not enough to keep him afloat.
In my opinion the folks in OH, MI, PA, and WI, would not have gone for Trump if HC wasn't a less than admirable and damaged candidate. She underperformed BO and Trump underperformed Romney in all those states. So the result was more about them not caring for HC than loving Trump.

Bottom line is those folks decided to give Donny a shot, and are strictly "dating" him at this point. In other words they ain't married to him, and will drop him like a bad habit not if, but when, he breaks all his promises!

Instead

President: Republican
Senate: Republican
House: Republican
Supreme Court: Conservative (Trump could make up to three picks)
State Legislature: majority Republican
Governorships: 33 of 50 Republican

Dems: worst shape since the 1920s and face an unfavorable 2018 Senate map.

All libs have are polls. Lmao
One word: gerrymandering. The fact that so many Rs are in is not exactly due to a large majority of the country turning Republican.

So they didn't believe the message constantly being told us that Hillary was the most qualified candiate ever and Trump is so unacceptable that you had to vote Hillary by default?

I see an issue. The house will likely go Democratic in 2018 if this Republican crap continues. Look at the whole town hall issue for example. I think Americans are breathing a sigh of relief but that is only one issue that needs to get blocked. Trump's tax plan does little to help us. It helps the rich just as Ryan/Trumpcare did. The only tax cuts that ever worked was Reaganomics and guess what, we still paid for it with the S&L bail out.

I see Trump being a H.W. Bush in 1992 at the very least where a challenger from his own party casts doubt on re-election or LBJ in 68 where he conceded due to a bad primary.

I understand your point but, still, it's hard for me to stomach the comparison with G. H. W. Bush, who had vast experience in politics and was known for his courtesy and propriety.

When you think of it, poor poll numbers didn't stop voters in NC, WI, MI, PA, FL, OH, IA, etc. from coming out and ensuring that Donald John Trump was elected POTUS! And they sure won't limit our support of the man today.

So what position did trumps rock solid supporters take on his campaign promise of "better health insurance for everyone and the government will pay for it"? Obviously ryan care was not that. Trump not only pushed it but made changes to appease the far right that made it even worse.
