Hubris is a very dangerous attribute. And those who ignore history are rather doomed to repeat it.

"...Nixon had won reelection in 1972 by a landslide and began his second term with a lofty 68% Gallup Poll approval rating in January 1973. But the Watergate scandal — which started with an effort to bug the Democratic National Committee office at the Watergate Hotel and subsequent efforts to cover it up — quickly took a heavy toll on those ratings....

By April, a resounding 83% of the American public had heard or read about Watergate, as the president.... And in turn, Nixon’s approval ratings fell to 48%.

Nixon's ratings FELL to 48% before his ouster. Trump would kill for 48%. Sad!

The only chance the left has to remove Trump is to vote him out in the November 2020 election. Hopefully the democrats don't screw up or else we'll have Trump for another four years.

I've put up money saying he will not serve 1 entire term. At the moment that is looking like a good bet.

Of course it looks like a good bet with three years to go.

In two more years, will you be as confident?
