NSA and FBI officials have both said they are not witholding info, as the article cited points out.

Furthermore, and again, given the brevity of the matter unmasking names of citizen to foreign national OR citizen to citizen conversations would not be unusual given the circumstances of involvement in the election process.

God I would hope our intelligence and security officials find traitors in our midst, don't you? Or are some of you only in support of that when it's politically expedient for 'your team'?

This is probably a good move. Nunes wasn't a strong speaker and I think he let the bad talk get to him.

Trey Gowdy, however, that guy will bury the media and Dems if they come at him.

Good move.

So Trump is OK with outing sources--although he himself cites anonymous sources as HIS proof of illegal action all the time...
Makes perfect sense in Trumplandia...

Hmm, Nunes stepping aside. You have to wonder if the fix is in. With Rice leaking unmasked intelligence this was going to light up Obama and possibly Hillary. DC covers it's own a$$.

This implies she knew what names would be unmasked doesn't it?

Why would it be political unless they knew who it was?

And what evidence do they have to prove that her motives were political?

He is not there to "bury the media" he is there to investigate the Russian intervention in our election process. Committee heads should be seen but not heard, they don't need to be in front of the camera promoting conspiracy theories and destroying the credibility of the very committee they are heading.

Besides I have not heard anything from Ryan regarding a replacement, isn't Gowdy still running the Benghazi committee.

Just a distraction.
Of course he was removed, and the reason is that he is now the subject of a house ethics investigation There was enough evidence of an ethics violation for the REPUBLICAN head of that committee to launch an investigation. It would be bizarre for the subject of a formal ethics investigation to continue his role as head of the investigation which caused him to be investigated, sometimes you just need to think these things through.
