As I tell my daughter, and granddaughter, being beautiful is not an accomplishment. My daughter totally got it, and her daughter is poised to be an accomplished person, despite being beautiful.
My point is, it is wrong for people to sell the First Lady short, just because she is beautiful. Liberal women in particular, are guilty of this.
How about giving Melanie Trump more than 3 months to claim her space as First Lady? I bet she will do fine. All she has to do is put her child first, and be charming to the foreign dignitaries. That is her only job, after all.
Obviously it's airbrushed and all, but all First Ladies have their portraits and Melania is no exception. I have to be honest, while I despise her husband, I love this portrait of her.
OOPS! I was just informed ... 15 carats is her engagement ring.
This is her 10th anniversary wedding present ... and it's 25 carats.

I wish the ring wasn't so prominent in the picture. It's a little too gaudy and kind of screams " new money "
But aside from the bling, I think it's a nice portrait. Hope to see more of the First Lady after she moves.
