California Senate Passes Sanctuary State Bill

Hopefully, America gives the state of California the same middle-finger and taxes the tax revenue and spends it in purple, swing states on special pet-projects.

The Republicans need to understand that each dollar spent in California is a dollar going to radical liberals like Maxine Waters, Eric Garcetti, Jerry Brown and Nancy Pelosi.

Every dollar spent in a state that voted for Trump is an investment in the future of America.

The Republicans, I am afraid are squandering this oppurtunity to basically buy middle-America, Florida and Texas electoral votes with lots of special infrastructure spending.

I really, really hope Trump and the Republicans can find innovative ways to ensure California does not get it's fair share of the infrastructure program as they didn't vote for the GOP.

If Republicans were smart they would cut welfare spending much of which goes to those insanely expensive California housing vouchers and use the savings for infrastructure in states like Texas and Florida that support the Republican party.

The Republicans should shower Texas, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin in a huge tidal wave of infrastructure spending to have those electoral votes in the bag.

Sorry, that's not how our federal government works. You don't penalize a state just because they didn't vote for the party you voted for.

They should cut off funding because California is blatantly ignoring the law. Stop Jerry Brown's choo choo train boondoggle.

I like living in Phoenix as I'm sure you do. It's pretty here, dry weather, nice COL. But I just don't share your hatred of CA, as evident in all your postings. I can't afford to live in LA, but I'm not going to diss the city because of that. It's still an exciting city to visit. The conservative poster here, john1982, wants to see the whole LA basin gentrified, and housing costs to go up even more.

Blah blah blah Trump is a unmitigated failure and an impotent buffoon. He is ALL TALK.

California will steamroll over any of his proposals that get in our way.

Get over it.

They need to stop wasting our time and secede. We wait 3 months then invade and conquer and redistribute their land to other states. They'll go from CALEXIT to CALNOMORE.

Been thinking how expensive it might be to change the flags if Puerto Rico becomes the 51st state. With such an odd number how do we align the stars? But if California goes and Puerto Rico comes on, no flag change needed.

If California seceded, what are going to do with the tens of millions of welfare recipients, aka known as voters.

1. California pays more to the federal government than it receives. The Tax Foundation found that California received about 78 cents in spending for every tax dollar in 2005, and Census and IRS data showed the state getting back 87 cents on the dollar in 2010. California subsidies those red state moochers.
2. It is completely beyond the pale for the government to punish states that didn't vote the for the current president.

They should crack down on Pot in Cali and repeal DACA for them, as well.

Very cool. Before, we could only ban funding to certain cities who were such, now that it is the entire state, we can turn off ALL funding to it.

Good job CA!
