I expect the Justices will welcome Gorsuch warmly and get down to business.
They are the court of last resort, with the sobering responsibility of guarding our fundamental values -- freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and due process of law.
They have also agreed to spend the rest of their lives with each other, arguing ideas, and making decisions that impact millions and generations.
I think most Supremes will be respectful of Gorusch. However, the court has one Obama appointee who thinks Latina women are better qualified to make decisions than white men. I hope she gets a fatal disease during the next three years. I don't support racists on the Supreme Court.

Yeah, I think the rest of the court will greet Gorsuch openly.
They all walked the fire walk getting there, so they know what it's all about getting there.
The Court is not like any other institution in Washington, and all the members know this very well too.
This Monday Neil Gorsuch will be sworn in as the 113th Supreme Court justice and I wonder how he will be greeted by the other judges given the tumultuous political times that he was voted in?
Of course Chucky Schumer had this to say.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said there will be “less faith in the Supreme Court†going forward.
Of course Gorsuch's decisions from the bench will be upheld but I'm sure there will be much griping from the Left.
The court is a bit lopsided right now and leaning to the Left so with Gorsuch it will become better balanced.
Given the political climate and the outright hate for all things Trump I don't see the justices that were appointed by a Democrat President being particularly happy that Gorsuch is joining them.
I wonder if Ginsburg will give him a hug ?
It doesn't matter if hugs are passed around as long as the justices act like the professionals they are. And I expect they will.
And I really hope they will ignore the demands of the extreme left and other butthurt liberal groups to treat Justice Gorsuch like he's the puppy that peed on their carpet.
I'm guessing they know and respect him already and most of them know they are only there by the grace of whatever political force was in power at the time. None of them are any more "pure" or deserving than the next.
I doubt that will be the case, regardless of the personal political leanings of any new appointee, even when, in the cases of justices as widely divergent, but similarly under-seasoned as Thomas and Sotomayor, both of whom were appointed at least partially with politics as a factor. Holders of higher-level judgeships are a pretty exclusive fraternity/sorority, and I'm sure that all of those involved recognize it.
Just as an aside to prove the point .... anyone else recall the time Justice O'Connor was seated with the NFL's John Riggins, (who appeared to have had a few too many), at a banquet too many years ago?
The liberals ones will act rude and unprofessional of course but that's just how liberals are
Sure. It's the liberals who are rude. See below.

Do you dispute what Sotomayor said, Ringo?
"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."
Reverse Latina woman and white male in the above quote by the Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor and please present an argument this Supreme isn't a racist and sexist. A racist and sexist should not be on the Supreme Court.

Ginsburg is one tough old broad, and your statement tells me you know nothing about her. Did know that she and conservative justice Alito were very close friends?
