Obama's plan to get rid of coal including spending millions of dollars and 7 years on building a solar road.

After all that time, the project generates about 43 cents of power/day.

Huge numbers of panels fail too.

Is it the oven with the spy-gear in it? Because that does take some extra power ya know!

Your level of critical thinking is so absurd it blows my mind.

You put solar panels where there is the most intense amount of sunlight per day... you know like... DESERT AREAS. So of course it won't generate much electricity. Stupid if you didn't see that coming.

Whoever thought Idaho would be a good idea to place solar panels?

To be fair, many microwaves draw some serious power.

Must be bad panels or concept. The local storage place here in cloudy NJ produces WAY more than that on their roof.

Edit: read other stories. BAD concept and poor execution. Its simpler to put panels over parking lots and on big box/ factory roofs.

Microwave draws around 1200 watts. Not that serious. Roughly 10 amps.

Apparently about 64 cents a day.

On some days, this mulimillion dollar Obama solar project would mean that you would have to eat cold food. It doesn't generate enough power to run it.

(IMO, someone got rich off this boondoogle at the expense of the taxpayers)

Meanwhile, while you push 19th century regressive policies, this is what's Obama has done for us:

Solar Production in U.S.

And they contribute 0 watts to USA base load electricity demands. Get back to us when you figure that out.

Oh and BTW, the project in the OP is exactly why. It does count towards "installed" solar panels.. They just don't work.
