In you response were you going to explain how what you meant by a nip showing in no big deal really meant nothing is showing? I apparently I lack the common sense to interpret "nip showing, no big deal" as "nothing showing." The fault is clearly with me.

I find it really funny still people are complaining but yet watch porn or go to the beach, etc. Youre perfectly fine with nipples then.
There are hundreds of products and methods for covering while breastfeeding. I'm sure one of them would have worked just fine for her.
Here's an idea. Next time you are out for lunch try the products. First start with the blanket over your head while you are eating. If that doesn't work, then try all these products/methods that may cover you while eating lunch. Report back let us know how it goes!

Or one could go around with a blanket over their head all the time and thus avoid the trauma of accidentally viewing someone breastfeeding.

You would be in your insistence that she would have been content with being covered while nursing by any blanket or other product such as nursing covers. I know from experience that she would scream/cry and pull it off.
By covering properly, you ensure slips don't happen. It's easy.
Youre more than welcome to see about changing the breastfeeding law and ask for women to be covered. I hope all your friends rally with you while La Leche League forms a nurse in while you stand there with your mouth open at all the nipples in front of you.
