I agree with those who say this is not a big news story, but Trump asked people to pray for his TV show ratings, so he should at least wish Brady's parents a happy wedding anniversary. However, for a while Brady has avoided talking about Trump, because his wife doesn't like him.
I love football but I could care less about this crap. Who cares what the president thinks or says about an athlete and vice versa.
He was singing Brady's praises when he was campaigning in New Hampshire and Mass but can't utter his name at a WH ceremony to honor his team and accomplishments? Small, classless and petty.

So the Patriots show up today, sans Brady, at the WH to be recognized for winning the Super Bowl and Donny goes into his little speech on how great a team they are and mentions 6-7 players during his presentation - but not Brady.
Of course we all know TB is arguably the greatest QB all time, was extremely instrumental in NE even getting to the Super Bowl, and was the SB MVP, but little hands just refused to give him his propers or even mention his name.
Even though Brady mentioned this was due to personal matters, Donny clearly took it as a personal slight and once again revealed what a little man child he is. Just pitiful and a total lack of dignity and class - not befitting the office he holds.

Personal matter meaning his wife likely convinced him not to go. Considering she posted about a march happening on the 29th in regards to Climate change on her twitter today. Though she apparently deleted the tweet shortly afterwards, she probably didn't want people to think she had anything to do with Tom skipping the event.
Gisele was tweeting about the climate change march today. Perhaps trump didn't care for that.
