Cons hate the Government and hate politicians. But they worship business men like Jesus.
Why do they believe business men are not equally or more corrupt than politicians. Where did this idea come from?
I know they create jobs, but so does the Government, Education and the non-profit sector. Its not like business owners are the only job creators. Why do Cons worship them like they are God himself?

I'm sorry, but speaking as a liberal, this is not very constructive, and not very likely to accomplish anything.
Generally Cons are going to give businessmen the benefit of the doubt because they perceive business men to be on their side and they also believe that "the market" will self correct in the case of the crooked business man.
Since they see politicians as being "the enemy" they see the pol as being crooked unless of course the pol's function is to grease the skids for the business man. Then he's not crooked you see.
Ok let's put it this way...both can be corrupt, but politicians have the power to FORCE things on everyone or prevent them from doing things, whereas businessmen cannot (unless they go to said politicians and become buddies).
Also, businessmen actually produce things and create wealth within society, whereas politicians simply decide how everyone else's resources will be used. The government has no resources of its own. They only have what they take from the private sector.

Because politicians are supposed to be honest and represent everyone. But they are all crooked and corrupt using their office for personal gain at public expense. Business people are just trying to make a buck.

business people cant make laws governing this country, politicians can.
business people dont make regulations governing this country, politicians do.
business people cant create the tax code, politicians do.
business people cant choose what laws to enforce or not enforce, politicians do.
if a business person breaks the law, they get hammered with fines, jail time, loss of the business, if a politician breaks the law, they often times get reelcted(remember marion barry mayor of wahington dc?)
if a business person lies about a product or service, they lose business, and thus money. if a politician lies, they generally get put into office.
if a business person lies about a competitor, they get sued, and could possibly lose their business, if a politician lies about an opponent, and does it better than their opponent, they win the election.
so you tell me, given the above facts, who would you trust on a day to day basis? a business person or a politician?
most business people will work within the system to make money, and they make no bones about it. they created their business to make money. politicians will tell you that they went into government to make a difference, what they dont tell you is that the difference they make is to their bank accounts.
so again, would you rather trust someone who is upfront about why they did something, or someone who is hiding the fact why they are doing something behind a bevy of lies?
i am not saying business people are saints by any stretch of the imagination, but most of them do what they need to do within the laws and regulations put upon them to make money. and sometimes you think you get crewed by a business person, when in reality they are only passing the screwing on from the politicians.
